Beja | Launch of the Pista Digital Platform – Intelligent System for Sustainable Tourism in Alentejo and Ribatejo
Within the range of activities developed by ASTO – Alentejo Sustainable Tourism Observatory, the PISTA Project – Sharing Information on Sustainability of Tourism in Alentejo, promoted the awareness raising action ‘PISTA Digital platform prototype – Intelligent System for Sustainable Tourism in Alentejo and Ribatejo’, on May 25th, 2022, at the UNESCO Center Auditorium, in Beja.
Pista Digital platform aims to provide tourism agents with a technological tool for monitoring Sustainable Tourism indicators, which contributes to their involvement in assessing the risks, costs, impacts and limits of their activity at the destination. In addition, it intends to facilitate the identification of innovation opportunities in their organizations and assist in the selection of better solutions for the use of resources, within the general principles of sustainable tourism development.
