Évora | Pista Digital Platform – Intelligent System for Sustainable Tourism in Alentejo and Ribatejo
The PISTA project presented the prototype of the PISTA Digital Platform – Intelligent System for Sustainable Tourism in Alentejo and Ribatejo, to the region’s tourism agents, on June 22nd, 2022, at D. Manuel Palace, in Évora.
The PISTA project, coordinated by the University of Évora, counts on the strategic partnership with Alentejo Tourism, ERT, coordinator of the Alentejo Sustainable Tourism Observatory (ASTO).
The Pista Digital Platform aims to provide tourism agents with a technological tool for monitoring Sustainable Tourism indicators, which contributes to their involvement in assessing the risks, costs, impacts and limits of their activity at the destination. In addition to this aspect, it also aims to facilitate the identification of innovation opportunities in their organisations and assist in the identification of better solutions for the use of resources, within the framework of the general principles of sustainable tourism development.
